Harold was not known for creating landscapes, but there was a period in the 1970s when he was living in the small town of Hudson, Illinois, driving to Normal and Champaign and all the way observing the stunningly beautiful scenery. Harold enjoyed long drives through farm fields and tree-lined homesteads, harkening back to his Iowa birthplace. 2 versions of this graphite drawing both sold out at $660. each, but there is a rare and incredibly beautiful large landscape etching available at Beluga Press.
